One is clear glass with color (think stained glass) and the other is silver with color (think of a colored mirror) The pure glass glitter will not tarnish, the silver based glitter will age and develop a patina with time. This listing is for the clear based. This listing is for 1 ounce of 80 grit diamond dust clear German Glass glitter. Since this doesn't contain silver it won't tarnish. Gives that overall "sugar-coated" look to ornaments or Santas or the rooftops of Christmas houses. Gives that vintage look to your projects. Really a very pretty pure color. Very nice quality! Nice and sparkly, yet not harsh like modern glitters. This glitter is fine. It's just about like granulated sugar. This is glass, it's not for use by children. Also keep it with craft supplies and not in the kitchen as a lot of these colors look just like colored granulated sugar. Packaged in a 3 by 3 inch clear resealable envelope.
