A tool-less-ly swappable, virtually bulletproof, bolt-on mudguard system to keep your state-of-the-art Öhlins fork….state-of-the-art.
The 3D printed TPU fender is extremely durable, but can be easily swapped out for a different color or design while the bolt-on mount, 3D printed in carbon fiber reinforced PETG, stays put once installed.
Includes mounting hardware.
The fender mount bolts onto the fork arch, but then the mudflap/fender is a friction fit into the slot and can be easily swapped out to a different color or design, or replaced if damaged creating a very durable and versatile system. The set will include one mount plate and one fender.
Currently available colors are:
Black
Yellow
Translucent Aqua
Turquoise
When ordering please specify mount plate desired color and the color of the fender. If you do not specify, you’ll receive all black components! :)
I designed this with 3d scans of the fork, modeled it in CAD, and it's 3D printed, with the base in PETG and the fender in TPU. Includes the M4 mounting hardware. If you own an RXF 38 fork, and would like to see if this fender does fit (i don't have access to a 38), I'd be happy to refund your purchase without you sending the fender back if it does not fit. That being said, I'm 99% sure it would fit.
Note: because each one is printed upon ordering, small variations in the part may be present. Layer lines are an inevitable manufacturing mark of fused deposition modeling (3D printing), but this part has been designed and printed in a way to maximize its strength given the process used.
