Next Science LARGE 30ml (1 oz) TUBE BlastX Antimicrobial Wound Gel MC-WG-0001-12BlastX is a breakthrough antimicrobial wound gel powered by Next Science’s patented, non-toxic biofilm-disruption Xbio Technology. This protective powerhouse fights bacteria three ways: It deconstructs, destroys and defends for effective, long-term protection from infection.
1. Deconstruction
Most antimicrobials only kill the free-floating or planktonic bacteria on the surface. BlastX deconstructs the bacteria biofilm’s extracellular polymetric substance (EPS) matrix, exposing 90 percent of bacteria that hide inside the biofilm’s protective membrane.
2. Destruction
Once exposed, bacteria are vulnerable to eradication. BlastX destroys these bacteria with latex-free wound gel ingredients that kill gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi, persister cells and spores.
3. Defense
After the biofilm is decimated, BlastX’s broad-spectrum antimicrobial defends from recolonization while maintaining a moist wound environment. Other antimicrobials risk being foiled by bacterial resistance, but non-toxic BlastX is so efficient at eliminating the biofilm that laboratory testing shows no evidence of recolonization after treatment with this Xbio Technology.

Indications
BlastX™ is indicated for management of wounds such as stage 1-4 pressure ulcers, partial- and full-thickness wounds, diabetic foot and grafted and donor sites.
Contraindications
BlastX™ should not be used if there is a history of allergy to any of the ingredients.
