riginal
COX Nylatron Axle Bearings, Standard Equipment on the rear of all Sidewinder Magnesium Chassis by Cox, for all 1/8" axles,  New Old Stock.  1/32,  1/24 and 1/25  scale.
Assures ultimate extreme high wear and low friction resistance material. Perfectly made with a riffling (fluting) on the inside of each bearing to help your car run faster.
Accurately made for all 1/8"  axles.
The Cox NYLATRON axle bearing is made from a new extremely high wear low friction resistance material.
Given average use this bearing will outlast ordinary type bearings. Be sure that the threads (when using threaded axle) do not extend into bearing.
It is advisable that no oil be used because oil has a tendency to attract and retain dirt and dust.
Measurement 11/32" O.D. of Outer flange, Thickens of Outer flange 1/32"  X  Inner flange (part that inserts into chassis 3/16" .182")  x ID 1/8" X 5/32"  Long (deep).
Manufactured in the 1960's by Cox Manufacturing.  Cox Part # 3388.

The greatest name in vintage slot cars collecting. Cox built the best quality cars and kits from 1964 to 1969 and today's collectors appreciate that quality. Cox sold their cars in RTR and kit form as well as parts. Body and chassis kits, wheels, tires, motors, axles, guides and gears were all sold separately. The kits are especially cherished but the factory-assembled RTR cars in their original boxes are also highly valued.
My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.  The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used.  I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.  Please email with any questions specific to something I may have missed.
