Biotitus Derma wound ointment, 100 ml, Ganikderma
Properties:
Stimulates the appearance of granulation tissue and promotes healing by:
- ensuring a microclimate favorable to healing by stimulating epithelial cells, keratinocytes and endothelial cells, reinstating the skin lipid barrier and the production of collagen and elastin;
- promotes epithelialization even in the case of deep lesions by stimulating the reserves of remaining epithelial cells;
- accelerates the vascularization of neoformation;
- the absorption of the excess exudate and its control allow an optimal debridement.
- the properties of the ointment allow its use in the case of any type of wound, even those at risk of superinfection, eliminating at the same time the bad smelling sensations;
- special comfort for the patient by atraumatic replacement of the dressing with a reduced frequency;
- favors the formation of a good quality epithelium;
- it is not adherent to the wound, it is easily and atraumatic removed;
- easy to apply in case of wounds in difficult areas;
- bismuth subgallas has a healing and astringent effect;
- the content of glycerides, fatty acids, flavonoids, vitamin A, E, K from olivae oleum (olive oil) and helianti oleum (sunflower oil) stimulates cell regeneration, collagen and elastin formation and ensures tissue hydration;
- linoleic acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid from castor oleum hydrogenatum (castor oil) stimulate the cell membrane and the synthesis of the intracellular matrix, contributing to cell regeneration;
- Vitamin A and esters of wax (beeswax) stimulate cell regeneration and contribute to tissue hydration.
Indications:
Having a good tolerance on the skin, the product is indicated in:
- local treatment of acute wounds: burns of degree I, IIa, IIb and III, abrasions, ulcerations, other traumatic wounds and other skin lesions;
- local treatment of pathological scars (hypertrophic, keloid)
- local treatment of bedsores, chronic vascular ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers;
- local treatment in the donor area of ​​the skin graft.
Way of ussage:
- Clean the wound with Ringer's solution or hypertonic solutions (saline) before each use of the ointment:
- The ointment is applied in a uniform layer of 1-2 mm on the entire surface of the wound; it is covered with a sterile dressing (gauze or non-woven), which ensures the protection of the environment favorable to wound healing, created by the ointment.
- The dressing thus formed is replaced daily or every 2-3 days, depending on the condition of the wound.
Precautions for use:
- The impregnated compress, the ointment in the applicator or in the tube, is not used in people who are allergic to one of the components.
- If the signs of a local infection appear, the treatment will be continued only with the consent of the doctor.
- Check the integrity of the packaging before use.
- The product should not be used if the packaging is damaged.
