Compiled and Arranged by Robert Macoy. Published by Clark, Austin & Company, New York, 1852, first edition. Measures 3” x 4 1/2”. Original embossed red hardcover with gilt device on front board, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges gilt. Illustrated. Boards and spine worn as shown, contents generally very good, some scattered age-toning and foxing, previous owner’s name present, lacking the leaf with XV/XVI of the Introduction otherwise complete.
